How do we finance ourselves?

We are a non-profit institution. Our funding comes mainly from donations and services we perform.

Mission

IdeaPaís is an independent think tank, whose purpose is to promote Christian-social ideas in Chile through the Education of young people, dissemination of ideas and proposal of public policies.

Vision

IdeaPaís aims to generate a community of people trained in social Christianity, with an interest in public affairs and the social problems of Chile. Combining action and reflection, IdeaPaís works for a more caring society, with special attention to the excluded.

Abogado de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Tiene un magíster en Políticas Públicas (MPA) y un magíster en Filosofía de las Ciencias Sociales, ambas en The London School of Economics and Political Sciences (LSE). Se desempeñó como abogado en Barros, Silva, Varela & Vigil y trabajó en la Fundación TECHO-Chile. Dirigió el movimiento Construye Sociedad. En 2016 fue elegido uno de los “100 Jóvenes Líderes” del país por la Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez y la Revista Sábado.

Between 2018 - 2022 he was Coordinator of the Interministerial Coordination Division of the Ministry General Secretariat of the Presidency. Previously, he was an associate at Barros & Errázuriz Abogados, advisor to the Senate of the Republic and Consultant at b2o Consulting.

Abogada de la Universidad de los Andes y Máster en Derecho de la Universidad St. Thomas, (Estados Unidos). Exdirectora ejecutiva de Acción Educar y parte del directorio de IdeaPaís entre los años 2021 y 2022. También, fue elegida como una de las 100 jóvenes líderes el año 2021, por la Revista Sábado y la Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, y como una de las 100 mujeres líderes el año 2022, de Mujeres Empresarias y El Mercurio.

Doctor en Economía Política del King's College de Londres y Magíster en Filosofía de la Universidad de los Andes. Es decano de la Facultad de Ciencias Sociales de la Universidad de los Andes. Antes, fue Director del Centro Signos de la misma casa de estudios.

Cientista Política de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile y Magíster en Políticas Públicas de la Escuela de Gobierno de la misma universidad. Cuenta con certificados en Relaciones Internacionales; en Innovación y en Dirección y Gestión de proyectos. Antes, trabajó en el Ministerio de Salud durante el gobierno de Sebastián Piñera y en la Municipalidad de Santiago con el alcalde Felipe Alessandri.
