Solidarity: Politics and Economics for a post-transition Chile

Solidarity is a social principle that plays an essential role in our social relations, including the family community, neighborhoods, educational organizations and cities, as it seeks to guide us towards co-responsibility for the good of others. Assuming this reality, this book seeks to install a political and intellectual reflection on the current Chile, deepening about the content of solidarity and its institutional and public policy implications.

Solidaridad: política y economía para el Chile postransición, is the result of a collective effort. Its authors, from different origins and approaches, agree that solidarity is not synonymous with welfare, but a principle that helps us to take seriously the interdependence between people and social groups, aiming at making each one feel responsible for all.
